It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas

Ribbon
I don't only use ribbon to wrap gifts but as a decoration it's self. I tend to tie festive coloured ribbons on my tree and garlands . A really good alternative to buying lots of expensive decorations!
I found these ribbons at TIGER store in Norwich , however they have stores located all over the UK and internationally.
The gingham ribbon was £1 and you get 5 meters.
The red and green satin ribbon are also £1 but you get 15 meters.
A real bargin ! Unfortunately you can't buy there products online but you can browse a selection on their website.

Alphabet Stamps
I got these to create name tags for everyones presents but you could use these stamps at any time of the year. I also like the idea of using them to create decorative place names for the Christmas table.
These are £3 also from TIGER store.

Baubles
I find it so hard to find tasteful baubles that don't cost and arm and a leg. I am not a fan of the crazy metallic as they can look cheap despite the expensive price tag. I was so pleased when I found these red, white and silver baubles in Wilkinson for only £2.50. They have a lovely matte finish and with 18 in a pack they are a real steal.

Crackers
I got these as decoration crackers for my tree and garlands. They are called 'mini crackers' however they are big enough to dress the table if you wish. I love the simple grey stripe and red border which match my baubles and ribbon I have bought. They have sticky labels attached to write names on if you use them at the table which is a lovely added touch.
You get 6 in a pack and they are £4 from Wilkinson.

Glade Scented Candles
I love scented candles and the spiced ones are a great scent for the festive season. I always look out for them on offer in the run up to christmas . I found these glade ones in Wilkinson which are currently on an offer 'better than 1/2 price' and are only £1.75 each . They last for 30 hours each and are really really fragrant. I am already looking forward to lighting them!

Christmas Cards
I am a sucker for stationary and when it comes to cards I love to choose them. I have searched the high street for my christmas cards this year and finally found these beautiful ones in Marks and Spencer. I love the illustration style and the use of red and white. They were £5 for 24 cards which is not bad at all. If you have a really large family they are on a 3 for 2 offer with other card designs.

I love christmas and I'm really getting in the spirit of it this year as it's the first year I've had my own house to decorate. I know it is only November but I am slowly collecting all my christmas bits so that I don't feel completely spent out come December.
I thought I'd give you a heads up with a few good buys I have found around the shops.
