Latitude Festival

Monday, 21 July 2014

This weekend we took our festival virginity , by attending Latitude Festival in Suffolk. We only went for the day to test the water but fell in love with the whole festival atmosphere!
Latitude is an arts and music festival aimed at families and young adults it has a really lovely feel to it with lots of eateries, tents, activities and a whole host of acts from literature readings to main stream music.
I managed to rake a few snapshots in the day but you can find more on my instagram ( holliemontagnon) if you want to see a few more. Next time we are definitely thinking of doing it properly ( camping and all ) and now are ready to try other festivals too!

Spa Day at The Harbour Hotel

Sunday, 6 July 2014

I recently went to The Harbour Hotel and Spa in St Ives , Cornwall for a day of pampering and eating delicious cakes. It was so relaxing unwinding on the terrace with herbal tea admiring the amazing view stretching out to sea.
The terrace lead inside to the pool , jacuzzi , sauna , steam room and gym where you could spend all day unwinding and giving your body some TLC.
I treated myself to an amazing back , neck and shoulder massage where they used all the gorgeous ESPA products which made my skin silky soft and smell amazing for the rest of the day . I certainly recommend ESPA product range for a special treat.
We finished the day with some late afternoon tea inside the lavishly decorated hotel indulging in cakes , finger sandwiches and scones whilst looking out to sea.
It was a truly relaxing day and if you can't afford to stay here the day package for £59 is a great compromise.

Ladies who Lunch & a Treat at Jo Malone

Tuesday, 1 July 2014

One of my good friends Georgie came to stay at my new house which was super lovely . We had some real relaxed girl time eating , drinking , shopping and getting pampered.
We popped to Norwich and had amazing salads at the restaurant Giraffe ( they are a chain so I will link there site at the bottom ) before mooching around the shops picking up a few bits. At the end of the day we went to the Jo Malone bar in Jarrold and booked in for a hand and arm massage which was amazing . The lovely Simon took us through all the different products too find our favourites for the massage . I went for Lime Basil and Mandarin infused with Peony Blush which was a beautiful fresh scent. I really recommend asking for Simon if you are popping in for the massages as his products knowledge is fantastic!
We were offered a complimentary glass of bubbles each which went down bait too well and we relaxed into our massages.
After we finished there was no obligation to buy anything but I couldn't resist a candle as all my Jo Malone ones have been burnt out . I went for English Pear & Freesia which is subtle and something I wouldn't have usually gone for but I fell in love with the summery fruity scents.
I have been burning it throughout the day and my house smells amazing ! Perfect for summer!
